Bulldogs Fall to Irish
St. Patrick had only four hits but worked three walks, a single by Mike Goldsmith, an error and a two-run double in the third inning by Dom De- Luca to score four runs and it was enough for a 5-3 win at Bonin Field. Josh Simon singled in a run in the fourth inning and John Jenness had the other hit, a single. Jeff Dietz had three hits for the Bulldogs and Eric Olson and Eric Bisek each hit safely twice. Kyle Johnson, Eric Olson, Adam Gill and Anthony White each hit doubles for Union Hill with White’s hit scoring two runs in the fourth inning. Bill Dunker was the starting and winning pitcher for St. Patrick.
